John 7:17 – “If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know about the teaching, whether it is of God, of I am speaking from Myself.” NASB. Are you confused with so many contradictory messages out there? Jesus gives us the answer in John 7:17.
Have you ever wondered why every prayer we pray ends in Jesus Name Amen!!? What does that really mean? And why do we say it?
We must “KNOW” the power and authority in the name of Jesus. If we DON’T KNOW this, then simply ending all our prayers “in Jesus’ name” has no faith attached to it. It becomes merely a memorized jargon.
Romans 12:2 – And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Many times we struggle with knowing what God’s will is for our life. Is it God’s will for me to take up this job? Is it God’s will that I marry this person? Is it God’s will that I start this business? And there are plenty of other situations where you are trying to find out God’s will for you.
But God’s word commands us not to conform to this world but be transformed by the renewing of our minds. If we could do this, then we would KNOW the good and perfect will of God.
So, what is truth in the bible? There can be only ONE truth. You can’t have multiple truths different from each other, right? So, what is that truth? How do we walk in it?
What does Christ in you the hope of glory really mean? Col 1:27 – To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ IN YOU, the hope of glory.
God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. In John 4:23, Jesus mentions the term “true worshipers”. This implies there are fake ones.
