Jesus’ Tomb
Jesus’ tomb was close to Golgotha or Mount Calvary, the place of His Crucifixion. The church of the Holy Sepulchre was planned to enclose both the site of His crucifixion and Jesus’ tomb. Archaeologically, it has been impossible to confirm that this is Jesus’ tomb, but it has widely been accepted that this was the site of His burial. Some others believe that Jesus’ tomb is the garden tomb in Jerusalem.
